Camelot Community Care Opens New Program in Central Florida
Camelot Community Care will soon expand to a new service area, providing child welfare case management, adoption and family support services in Orange and Seminole Counties. In announcing these new locations, Camelot continues to grow its reach and positively impact families throughout Florida.
“With the addition of these counties, Camelot Community Care, in partnership with Embrace Families, the Lead Agency for Child Welfare services in the circuit, will work diligently to ensure that child and family well-being remain of utmost importance in the work that we do,” said Michael DiBrizzi, CEO of Camelot. “Our focus in providing these services will be to strengthen families and caregivers, providing resources that will keep children safe at home and help families grow stronger together.”
Camelot’s programs provide ongoing supports and services that allow families to thrive, prioritizing an environment where children are free from harm. Camelot’s collaborative approach ensures that our mission of enabling children and families to realize their fullest potential is met.
The priority for our operations in Central Florida will be to stabilize the workforce, reduce caseloads, and establish an intentional, focused effort that emphasizes permanence, child safety, and quality casework. Camelot has already partnered with Embrace Families to increase salaries and to improve recruitment and retention of vital case management staff.
“We look forward to working with the Embrace Families team, as well as all of the stakeholders in Orange and Seminole Counties, to improve outcomes and to promote safety and stability for children in foster care, and to fully support those families we are helping to remain together,” said DiBrizzi.
