Overview


Camelot’s Independent Living Services (ILS) supports young adults ages 18–21 (and up to age 22 with documented disability) who are participating in Florida’s Extended Foster Care program.

Participants must be:
Enrolled in high school, GED, college, or vocational school, OR;
Working at least 80 hours per month, OR;
Participating in a job training program, OR;
Have a qualifying disability.

Young adults in Extended Foster Care live in supervised living arrangements while building education, employment, and independent living skills.


Partnership Opportunities


Become a Mentor

Provide consistent encouragement, accountability, and guidance as a trusted adult in a young person’s life.

Minimum monthly check-ins;
One-year commitment;
Orientation and background screening required.


Become an Employment Partner

Support young adults by offering:

Job opportunities;
Workplace mentorship;
Career coaching;
Interview preparation support.


Supportive Housing / Host Home Partner

Provide a supervised living environment approved through Extended Foster Care.

Note: All housing partnerships begin with mentorship and relationship-building. Housing placements require orientation, screening, proposal approval, and compliance review.
